The use of coins as personal adornments began in ancient Rome, when the imperial coinage was mounted in jewels to convey class and wealth. In our collection “Pilla”, which means wealth in the Sardinian language, antique coins are treated in the same way as precious stones; chosen for the beauty of their depictions and the preciousness of the metal. These medals are designed as a celebration and a testament to the past, featuring an authentic fragment of history, which is framed in 18k gold and encapsulated in plexiglass for a contemporary and tactile result.
