STORAGE

Our packaging is thoughtfully designed to store your jewellery at home and protect it when you carry it with you while traveling.
It is highly recommended that each jewellery piece is kept individually in our travel pouch, made with soft lambskin and padded, to avoid scratches from contact and damage.
At home, keep your jewellery in a dry place and out of direct sunlight, intense heat sources or temperature change, which can ruin or cause damage to the materials over prolonged periods of time.

CLEANING AND REPAIR

Avoiding brushes that can cause scratches, you can clean the gold and diamond parts with water and soap
or dedicated products.
For other all other materials, including stones, glass, enamel and pearls we recommend polishing your jewellery
exclusively with a lint-free cloth to maintain its original sparkling condition.
If the item got damaged, and you want it anew, we do offer a repair service. please get in touch with us at info@mamusa.it for more information.

CARING FOR PRECIOUS MATERIALS

MAMUSA jewellery is traditionally handmade in Italy with precious metals and gemstones and, as a result, it requires special care. A few simple recommendations will help maintain its shine and keep it in perfect condition.
When putting on your jewellery, do it over a soft surface in case you accidentally drop it. Our pieces are modular and can be easily styled in different ways, however our fastenings require gentle handling, by pushing only inward; pulling in other directions can loosen the fastening.
Remember to remove your jewellery before washing your hands, swimming (in fresh, chlorinated, or salt water),or using products such as perfume, hairspray, soap, lotion or any cleaning products.
Harsh chemicals, but also perspiration may harm pearls and all other materials, cause discoloration, or cause a loss of brilliance, so it is important to take off your jewellery before exercise and physical daily activities.
Avoid hitting your jewellery against hard surfaces - this may break or chip the fragile materials such as enamel and glasses - and all contact that may scratch the metal and gemstones.
